2026A walking song of the Mamuna people of South Papua —day by day, on the earth of their fathers.
music
Sharing this powerful song from the depth of the Heart of Men. A song by the Mamuna people of South Papua, that conveys in a few seconds what Unima's heart pulsates for. A song that touches and opens the heart. You can feel the it's strength, deeply connected with nature, their family, their ancestry.
Day by day we walk on, Our feet pressing the same earth our fathers and our fathers' fathers walked day by day, while they walked on. Day by day we walk on, hush, little ones, don't tell the earth we love her yet. We will sleep in her soon enough, but for now we walk on.
Recorded from the Mamuna, South Papua.
